Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Calvary Church on Saturday, March 6. We are pleased to have you join us to pack food for those in need. Please note that you may only sign up your own family and/or those with whom you have been isolating, and all packing will be done in family/bubble groups. We can accommodate individuals as well as larger families, and all ages are welcome. You will be required to provide and wear a face covering while packing with us, and we have adjusted our process and procedures. Please review and accept the consent form for you and your party when you sign up.

To request a spot, please click on the appropriate link below. Your shift is confirmed ONLY AFTER you receive an email back from us.

Due to limited space and social distancing requirements, you are signing up for a particular volunteer job. This means that once we have confirmed by emailing you, we expect that you will be there with the number of people you included in your request. If you or anyone in your group is sick, please let us know as soon as possible (signups@servantswithaheart.org) and stay home. We will do our best to fill your spots. If you have a group of more than 6 people, please email signups@servantswithaheart.org

By participating in Servants with a Heart activities, I understand and agree for myself and those in my group including any minor children with me (collectively referred to as “Volunteer”):

  • Participation in Servants with a Heart’s activities is as a volunteer and not as an employee.

  • Volunteer assumes all risks and liabilities that may result from participation in Servants with a Heart activities.

  • Volunteer releases, forever discharges, and holds harmless Servants with a Heart, its employees, representatives and agents from any and all causes of action, claims, demands and/or liabilities arising out of injury to or damage sustained by Volunteer.

  • Volunteer agrees to indemnify Servants with a Heart against any and all liability or loss, and against all claims or actions arising out of damage or injury to person or property caused by Volunteer.

  • Volunteer recognizes that Servants with a Heart and/or its authorized third parties may photograph, record video and/or take statements from Volunteer while participating in Servants with a Heart activities, all of which may be used to promote Servants with a Heart programs. Volunteer hereby authorizes the taking of such photographs, video or statements and releases Servants with a Heart and its authorized third parties from any claims associated with the use, publishing, display, exhibition, modification, adaptation or copying of such photographs, video and/or statements, including, without limitation, any claims arising under the right of publicity, right of privacy, or copyright law.

COVID-19 Addition:

Servants with a Heart (SWH) is doing everything we can to protect you, the public, as well as our workers and volunteers. To this extent, we will be following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health department guidelines with regard to social distancing practices in order to reduce the spread of Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19. This will require our staff and volunteers to maintain six (6) feet of distance between ourselves and you, the client, as much as possible. We will also be requiring this same procedure for client-to-client contact in order to limit the exposure to all individuals.

  • We will require all individuals (staff, volunteers, and clients) to utilize either surgical masks or improvised masks such as scarves, bandanas, or handkerchiefs to reduce the risk of exposure to yourself and others.

  • It is required of everyone to either wash or sanitize their hands after using the restroom, sneezing, coughing, and before packing meals.

  • SWH will assign volunteers a job before the event. We are asking volunteers to stay with their group the entire event and not switch roles.

If we all work together, we can overcome the spread of this virus as well as other infectious diseases. We welcome you to our facility. By signing below, you agree to comply with the written instructions above. Failure to comply with these written instructions or verbal instructions from staff or volunteers may result in your removal from the premises.
